How wonderful does this look? Suffering from a bit of creative blockage myself, I came across a very useful book 'Brave Intuitive Painting' by Flora Bowley and immediately fell in love with the approach she has to painting. Vibrant and free she takes the student through the process of creating in a unique way so as to take the pressure away from the student, allowing them to create their own unique style.
There are no such things as mistakes apparently and I can't wait to get started! :-)
Check out the video on the home page to see how a painting develops through using this technique. So simple....and I like the idea of mixing the process with yoga and meditation. I have often wondered if I should be going through some sort of mind and body ritual before I get started of painting or drawing.
When I get on to it (the day job is getting in the way right now...I so want to go home and paint!) I'll post the results here. Watch this space.....
